• Built Carta (carta.sh), a digital business card that people, phones and AI agents can read: NFC, QR and Wallet, plus an agent-readable profile. Live since 2026
• Designed the data model and backend on Supabase / PostgreSQL: schema, migrations, auth and row-level security, with EU data residency (Frankfurt)
• Wrote the application layer on Next.js App Router: server components, server actions, TypeScript
• Ongoing web and product work for clients

First design and frontend hire at an insurtech that insures deliveries and resolves claims, moving from a Shopify plugin for small merchants to a platform for large logistics operators. Owned the design and frontend execution, with product decisions led by the Product Manager. Inherited a four-page brand PDF, no design system and two disconnected applications.

• Brought three apps (Django Admin, Vue 3 and Nuxt) into a single Next.js architecture with a Backend For Frontend layer, with the Product Manager and the backend team: one view for customers, one for operations
• Built the design system from zero: from the brand PDF to Figma tokens and a component library on shadcn and Tailwind, used across every product surface
• Redesigned claims creation flow from 14 steps and repeated form fills to 5 clicks with context-aware pre-loaded data, reducing cognitive load significantly
• Translated insurance contracts into product functionality, working directly with claims operations
• Rearchitected high-volume data filtering interfaces, resulting in strong positive feedback around speed and clarity
• Built data visualizations with D3.js, including claims volume, on top of real, messy operational data
• Wrote the first internal guidelines on when AI should and shouldn't enter the product, and designed and built the front of Control, a first foray into AI insights for customers from the data they already had
• Led small cross-functional teams (2–3 developers) for specific delivery cycles
• Worked across Vue 3, Nuxt and React / Next.js through the consolidation

• Delivered 10+ projects end-to-end: research → wireframes → visual design → production implementation
• Led Vue.js / Nuxt migrations on production apps (Vue 1 → 2 → 3), maintaining continuity for live user bases
• Clients include UrbanSim, WePropagate, Post*, and various agencies

Teaching design students how to decide what to delegate to AI and what to preserve as their own judgment. Developed the COLAB methodology, a four-step framework for human-AI collaborative design used with 35+ master's students. Guest facilitator at IdeaSquare (i2Planet) at CERN. A cross-disciplinary programme with IED, UPC & ESADE using speculative design to tackle sustainability challenges.
